I answer emails within 24 hours of receipt and phone calls within a few hours. If you have specific preferences about how I should contact you, please mention that in your email or voice mail. If you send me an email and don’t hear back within 48 hours, please resend your message or give me a call. Sometimes spam filters will incorrectly snag genuine emails. Techno-gremlins happen and I’ll never ignore you, so no response means I didn’t get the message.

Getting to know me.

We Break Things is a company of one, me, Casey. If I were the queen of somewhere, you could say it’s the “royal we” but in this case, it’s my company name.

I grew up in a small town in Northern California, and then lived in very urban San Francisco for 20 years, so I’m well-acquainted with the tech industry. In 2010, we bought a house and I moved to Portland OR. After the urban crush of a city, the quiet streets and trees of Portland are lovely. Plus, we have the highest number of breweries in the US.

When I’m not breaking things, I like to play disc golf, ride vintage Vespas, dig around in my garden, hang out in ski lodges in the winter, and camp near rivers or lakes in the summer.

I’m pretty outgoing – also creative, passionate, opinionated, snarky, and weird. Ask any of my clients and you’ll hear about my strong work ethic, eagerness to share ideas and participate in meetings, and meticulous attention to detail. I just have an innate ability to break things. It’s a gift I am happy to share.
